Vegeta hands down was our favorite transport. We have transported some great animals that you didn't want to let out of your grasp but Vegeta was that one in a million. Vegeta was a reunion transport for displaced military member and we were more than happy to help make that reunion happen but after delivering Vegeta I have to admit it was hard to get in the truck and not seeing Vegita there.Read More
As an owner-operator/trucking company owner, I’m always thinking about improving my business. I’ve learned a more effective way to obtain new business skills and more importantly, business philosophies, while still generating revenue for my company. I’ve been listening to business and self-improvement podcasts for quite awhile out on the highways and byways of America. This has been a wise use of my time to say the least.Read More
Alex Debogorski and Lisa Kelly are like a lot of other ice road truckers that operate in the frozen north; tough, strong, resourceful, independent, etc. But their story has gotten international attention due to their recurring role on Ice Road Truckers (IRT). I recently met Alex at the Mid America Truck Show in Louisville and was able to meet Lisa last year at the Great American Truck Show in Dallas. At its peak, IRT was the #1 reality show on television and still does very well today. The show allowed the general public to appreciate the dangers that truck drivers go through who operate on the frozen oceans, lakes and roads in the northernmost parts of our planet, transporting oilfield supplies and life sustaining freight.Read More
Super Bowl edition. We have done this personally at this stadium during the 2008 Super Bowl. Even a single ticket will be pricey compared to a regular season or even a playoff game. Two tickets the day before the event when we arrived were way to expensive for us however there is a lot to do leading up to the Super Bowl. We had a great time and there is plenty of truck parking near by with a inexpensive cab ride away from the event. The local entertainment and dining are fantstic. Try to make the the NFL Experience, it is one of the most exciting continuous events surrounding Super Bowl XLIX - pro football's interactive theme park offering participatory games, displays, entertainment attractions, youth football clinics and free autograph sessions from NFL players. There is also tours of the stadium offered and seeing this high tech stadium with it's Super Bowl attire on is worth the visit by itself. Two of the many things to do during the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl. If your in the area we highly recommend putting this event on your priority list.Read More
On the road? Need a break and looking for something different and fun to do? Why not visit one of the NFL's 31 stadiums. As a part of our Truck Travel Series we have researched getting your truck parked at the NFL venue or parked as close as possible with a short cab ride to the stadium. Plenty of stadiums provide tours during the week so your visit to your favorite teams stadium doesn't necessarily have to be on game day. Keep in mind if you are a solo driver and you go to the game by yourself, single tickets can typically be purchased at a great price. You have a much better chance of getting a great seat location and most stadiums have great fans so you will be making friends quickly.
Bobtail parking is allowed, price is $30 per car space.Read More
